And the winner is..........

....Jamie from Idaho. She is the lucky recipient of one skein of handspun lambswool from my Ava. Jamie states that she is a beginning knitter. However, she also mentioned that her folks just purchased a few sheep. Hmmm, that's how I started out, and now I'm up to seven sheep, three goats, and a llama. Watch out, Jamie. Just sayin'.

Jamie blogs about her family and life. You can follow her at What I Did Today.

I love this picture of her kids. It kind of sums up how I feel during the holidays! :)

I'm sorry that I only had one skein to giveaway. So many people correctly guessed the unidentified plant! It is indeed a teasel.
It is also known as clothier's teasel and clothier's brush. It can be used to clean, align, or raise the nap or brush a piece of fabric--especially wool. It is an invasive species, a single plant can produce over 2,000 seeds and remain viable for at least 2 years. It was introduced to the US in the 1700s.

Thank you to everyone who participated! Have a great Saturday.
