Hookin' for the Holidays!

I've set aside the spinning wheel and knitting needles to do some hooking. Rug hooking that is! I absolutely love rug hooking from beginning to end; from designing to finishing. Yes, finishing. I hate finishing my knitted projects, but I love to finish rug hooking projects by stitching the bound edge with handspun yarn.

This month, all my hooked projects have been inspired by the Beatles as is only fitting since it is the 30th anniversary of John Lennon's death. Right now, I keep replaying the song "The End" in my head. I know you know this song: ..."and in the end, the love you make, is equal to the love you take."

I completed these lovely peace sign coasters and I have already started a hippy heart pillow. All items will be for sale, along with my handspun yarn, hang tags, and cards at Miss Effie's Summer Kitchen. Okay, I know it's not summer, but the Summer Kitchen is open and loaded with wonderful, handmade goods.
Drop me an email if you're interested in my hand-hooked items. I'll be posting the pillow soon as well.

Happy Hooking! Uh, and holidays as well!
